Happy Mail Monday :)

I am not sure I can ever say how much I love http://www.onecrazystamper.com/ This store has everything I could want from a craft supply store.
I also love what I call  GREAT customer service in a box.
When ever I order from Victoria BC my order takes a week or less to arrive from Ontario.
Lora packages up my order with such thought and care with pink or green tissue paper wrapping and candies. When I open the box it just makes me happy wich  is why I call it GREAT customer service in a box.
Today I received new papers and embelishments and my ABSOLUTE favourite new Copics.
Here in Victoria one marker averages to be ten to twelve dollars a pen.
Completely out of my price range  http://www.onecrazystamper.com/ charges 5.99 for a sketch marker. LOVE IT! Once when I needed a refill ink I called a store here in Victoria and they told me it would arrive from the Mainland in 3 weeks.

So I ordered it from one crazy stamper and I was able to be colouring with that shade again in less than one week.  Brilliant. Never again will I pay silly prices at Michaels where I leave feeling like I over paid. I am a http://www.onecrazystamper.com/ fan.

186 Days till Christmas!

The weather outside here in Victoria BC has been more frightful than delightful. Victoria should be blue sky and flip flops by this time of year. Instead its rain,wind,grey skies and then more of the same the next day. I was so excited to see the sunshine yesterday just for it to run away today and hide. So I thought since I don't want to be playing in my garden that I would take some time to start working on one of several Christmas card orders I already have. I am actually really excited to make them . My nick name during the Holiday season isn't Sandy Clause for nothing lol.  186 more days till the big day. Seems like loads of time till you think of all you may have to do. Why leave things for the last minute when you can get a jump start today :)

Day off!

I like having Mondays off. Kids are at school and my Bald Man is at work. My friends are usually busy at work so its a me day. A day to catch up on house work, reading, colouring grey hairs. What ever I want really. Today I got the kids off to school and was a weepy mess by ten am thanks to a sappy movie that I save for when nobodys around to see. The sun was shinning today with makes me appreciate the HUGE windows we have in our home. My rule on choosing a house is BIG windows. I can't stand tiny windows. It was just a good Monday. To make this week even better my in laws arrive on Wednesday for  a long over due visit. Work gets in the way of life too much. My family is really looking forward to this visit. Today I got to play with a new stamp that arrived last week from http://whimsystamps.com/store/.

Iam very happy with how she turned out. My colouring still needs a lot of improvement but I feel its getting better every time I post. Loving the new Bo Bunny Ambrosia paper I ordered from www.onecrazystamper.com/. Love the selection of products this site has to offer.

Birthdays!

June is a busy month for birthdays. My mom, nephew, several neighbors all have birthdays in June.  The most significant June Birthday for me however is my sons. On the tenth he will be 14 years old. Not sure how time slipped past me this fast. Seems like yesterday he was a baby in my arms, a toddler at the park playing with diggers in the sand. Now he is a teenager with a moustache and so tall I no longer need a step ladder in the kitchen. I just ask him to reach things for me now. So with all these birthdays going on I felt inspired to make a birthday card. Recently I received some happy mail in the form of a new Wee stamp from http://whimsystamps.com/

Friends

Last week I got Happy Mail.
Two new mini stamps from http://www.magnoliastamps.us/.
I think they are adorable but have a lot of people in my life that find these stamps a bit creepy because they are drawn without mouths.
I hardly notice and find that this feature adds to their charm.
The sentiment Friends Forever is just a random stamp I found in my growing collection.
I thought the three stamps togther just went with the feeling going through my home right now.
My daughters BFF is moving away and she is heart broken.
These two have been almost Siamese Twins the past couple of years and the countdown to the move is on.
Just days left.
I know that friends come and go in your life, some stay but some are for the moment.
Being 11 though she is too young to wrap this thought around her mind.
All she knows is that she is leaving.
Thank goodness for Facebook and iPods with video chat.
She may be gone but never completely.
It would be nice to think that their friendship will survive the distance and turmoils of seperate teenage years.
However if it doesn't their friendship will always be a happy memory they can both turn too.
