Back in the craft room!!

I have let my blog suffer a bit since Christmas. Haven't meant too but just seems I have busy with so many things lately. My family and I just joined a new church and we have been very busy meeting new people. It has been super fun and grateful for how we have been embraced in their lives. My son in the last three months has turned into a man right before my eyes. He is so handsome, sweet and kind. I have to show you a picture of how handsome he looks in his new suit......or his first suit since he was two at his Aunts wedding.

Now enough bragging about my cute boy I also want to show you some of my newest cards I have been working on.

I was recently asked by a couple different friends to make them baby cards for their first Grandchildren.
The top card I made for a baby boy using the sweet Wee image from http://www.weestamps.com.
Iam so in love with her images they are adorable and always one of my go to stamp lines. FYI she just added two new REALLY cute images to her shop this morning.
The second card I made used baby Flora, my very first Mo manning stamp I ever bought. I remember I was thrilled when I had found her in our only stamping store here on the island.......as far as I know. I don't count Michaels as being a stamping store because they don't carry the brands I want lol.
You can also buy Baby Flora as a digital stamp here http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com.

Another thing I have recently done was sell off a bunch of old scrapbooking supplies I haven't touched in eons so that I could treat myself to a bit of a shopping spree.
Check out the stash. I can't not wait to get into the craft room and really have some fun with it all.

I ordered my stash from my favourite online site we have here in Canada http://www.onecrazystamper.com. Everything I order always gets to me in just a few days as opposed to a few weeks. I always tell my Bald Man that one of my favourite things is that she provides the best customer service in a box. You know when you open the box everything will be neatly wrapped in pink tissue paper with candies sprinkled on top. Nothing ever crinkled and always a thank you.
Forget a box from Tiffanys I want a box from One Crazy Stamper.
Happy St Patricks Day to you all
Hugs
Sandy

Eleven Months Till Christmas

I have been away from my blog for  a couple of months. Life gets busy sometimes and you don't always have time for all the things that you love doing. Luckily right now things seem to be settling back down. Happy New Year by the way!!! The two cards I am showing off today are images from Mo manning and Molly Bloom stamps. I discovered Molly Bloom stamps this past October in a little craft store in Victoria. I love them. Its going to be hard to resist the temptation not to buy them all. Sometimes I think I need a support group. Hi I am Sandy I am addicted to rubber.  Truly my craft room is starting to look like a well stocked shop. The mo manning winter Fairy stamp is a divi that you can find at her online store mo's digital pencil. I love the images and the price point makes me feel a smidge less guilty than rubber. Just a smudge lol. As I write this I am sitting on my couch with my wee dog sleeping in my lap while the rest of the family is still sleeping soundly upstairs.  Its very peaceful!! Soon enough the house will be alive with sounds of "Mom whats for beakfast".  Just a side story my Bald Man has agreed to let me keep the Christmas tree up all year. Yes all year. Its not going to be Christmas decorated its going to be my year long seasonal tree challenge. so on a very small budget as the holidays or seasons change so must the tree. My jaw literally hit the ground when he said I could do this. I always think he is the sweetest man when he agrees to the christmas tree going up on the first Saturday of November every year. So right now my tree is decorated for Valentines day. Next will be St Pattys day then Easter and so on. I will post a picture soon maybe later today if I get a chance since the only pic I have at the moment is on my phone. Not sure how to upload phone pics to my blog yet. Need to ask a teenager. I hope that you have a great weekend with the people you love.

One month till Christmas!!!

Iam so excited that Christmas is in only a month!
My tree's are up, the stockings are hung and my three pound Chihuahua is wearing his very own mini Santa Suit.
He actually loves it.
Tries to bite me if I try and take it off.
I could see his name on Santa's naughty list if he wasn't so darn cute!
So this months Blog theme was silver and gold.
If you have arrived here from Sallys blog than you are in the right place.
If you have missed any here is the blog hop order.
I hope you enjoy all the creations and have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!

Blog Hope Order

It feels like Christmas!!

This past weekend my family and I decorated the house.
The tree in the living room and a second smaller tree in the dining room.
Nutcrackers on shelves.
Snowman on the mantle.
The Holy Family looking out at us all.
I love the feeling the house gets when its dressed up for Christmas.
Iam always surprised when people ask me if I get sick of it since I decorate so early.
Nope!
I wait all year long for it to get here.
Even leaving it up for two and a half months seems so short compared to the rest of the year I spend missing it.
Iam grateful that my Bald Man gets me and indulges me in my crazy Christmas love.
I have made two simple Christmas cards using the new Wee Stamps friendship is the greatest gift and winter friends.
Now I have to ask.
Who wouldn't want to go for a walk and get to have a penguin hold your hand.
That would be AMAZING!!!!
Iam entering these into the http://www.onecrazystampercom.blogspot.ca christmas card challenge.

I also made a snowy winter scene using a Kraftin Kimmie Stamp called Eva!
Iam entering her into this weeks anything goes challenge http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca

Thanks for stopping by to say hi!
Enjoy all the build up that leads to the big day.
The build up is really the best part.

Big Hugs
