Chilly weekend Crafting

Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
The calendar says June 1st but I think that might be a typo.
I have a warm sweater on but I am wearing flip flops to be optimistic.
Is it warm where ever you are?
I have decided to spend Saturday in my craft room.
Whats your plans?
My husband is feeling under the weather and my kids are busy ,so I figure coffee, crafts and the Office on Netflix sounds good to me.
Do you watch tv or listen to music while you craft?
I did run a few errands this morning so its not like I am totally being a hermit.
Banking is done, grabbed a roasting chicken to cook for diner and stopped at Serious coffee for my daily soy milk match tea extra hot.
Yummy!!!!
Matcha is my new addiction.
Having worked at Starbucks for many, many years I do know the many health benefits to Matcha.
I  highly recommend it to any of you that haven't tried it.
Also treated  myself to a single pump of coconut syrup to sweeten it up a wee bit.
The full shot of syrup is WAY to much........blah!!!

Iam working on Christmas cards for our towns Christmas craft fair.
I used my favourite cute and chubby http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com snowman  " sending winter hugs "

I had some Happy Mail this week too. I fell in love with the Stamping Bella Image Emily and Ryan under the umbrella.
I just love the sentiment " If NOTHING lasts forever, please be my NOTHING " its like its should be the title of a Cheesy Chick Flic that I love.
I tried to colour pleats on her raincoat and they didn't really turn out but its on my list of things to practise.

This image also comes with  the sentiment  " for your Bridal Shower ".
I have a few nieces who have  become grown young woman so I figure I may be using this sentiment in the next couple years or so.
Thanks for stopping by my Blog today!!!
Hope that you have a great Saturday night!
Hugs
Sandy

  1. Love that snowman! I have been inspired since our last card making session and have actually spent some time in my craft room. Maybe I will get an early start on my christmas cards!

  2. Hi Sandy, you DID do a good job on coloring the pleats! I know from experience that ain't easy, if none are marked. This is a cute stamp. Loved all your snowmen cards too...I'm sure they will be a hit at your fair. Sorry to hear your DH is feeling a bit puny, but hope he feels better tomorrow. And yes, give him a big hug. He deserves it. Our area got to 90 today, so the a/c system went on for the season. Still hasn't cooled the house down comfy as I want it yet, but it's coming down. Have a great Sunday, wish I could send you some 'warm'. Hugs
