Love is in the air and Chocolate is in the stores!

Went to the Drug store this week and everywhere I looked I saw Red and Pink heart shaped Candy boxes. Massage oil Gift baskets, stuffed love Monkeys and Teddy Bears.
Greeting cards, Dinner for two Gift cards, Romantic scented candles.
Retail Love is in the air!
What do you do for Valentines day?
For us its usually a quiet night at home.
We don't fall into the extreme trappings of Valentines Day.
Maybe because we say we love each other several times everyday.
We say it in the morning.
We say it every time before we leave each other for the day.
We say it at the end of every phone call.
We say it in random mid day texts.
We say it every night before we go to sleep.
A day on the calendar isn't needed we just know all year long that we love each other.
However I am not gonna lie and say I don't like the flowers and my Valentines Day card too.
I just don't need them because I have my Bald Man.

Today I got a chance to make a couple Valentines Day cards with the adorable Hugs and Kisses Digi from Krista at Saturated Canary!. The papers I used are from my Recollections "Love" paper pad and both coloured up with assorted Copics.

Rain, Sick kids and crafts

Today I was able to spend some rainy day time in my beautiful craft room that my Bald Man made for me. One of the most recent stamps that I have purchased is Priya from Kraftin Kimmie stamps, I just love this image. Never having travelled to India I love how this image can inspire ones imagination. The colour choices and the papers you can use are endless. Today both my kids stayed home sick with a touch of the flu bug that is going around right now. My son is on the mend in less than 48 hrs and personally I do thank all the Cold and Flu FX that they have been taking. I really do think that stuff works wonders. Even my daughter is looking better after just one day. Fingers crossed my Bald Man and I avoid it completely. Hope your all healthy and having a great week so far! Take care and virtual hugs Sandy

Monday!!

Monday,Monday,Monday! For a Monday a really cant complain. The alarm clock went off on time so I wasn't late for work. My house is actually clean today. The laundry is DONE!!!! The Dogs aren't begging for anything they are snoozing peacefully in their basket. I have an unlimited coffee supply and the house all to myself. So Monday has turned into the perfect day to be crafty!! I played with one of my favourite Kraftin Kimmie Lulu's. Coloured her up with Copics and used odds and ends from my crafty stash. The only complaint I can come up with for Monday, the weekend to be with my family is so far away.

Cant seem to let Christmas go yet.

Cant seem to get out of the Christmas card making zone yet. Way to many cute images out there. This adorable little lady is from Mashi Muffins. Besides the Christmas card making my Christmas tree is still up. As of today our house is the only one with the Christmas lights still on in our complex. Maybe tomorrow I will start deChristmasing the house........maybe :(
