Work and the kids and even my 39th Birthday have kept me busy.
My Bald Man and the kids took me out for fish and chips ( a real treat as I don't eat anything fried )
The restaurant is right down on the ocean so the view was stunning despite the rain.
My kids were even smiling at the same time.
Happy kids but teenagers don't always like to be seen smiling when out in public with their parents.
Today sun is shining for which I am extremely greatful.
My wee little Chihuahuas are soaking up the rays on the porch as I type.
They are barking a lot today from the porch which keeps me hoping up to see why.
We have a grumpy Cougar in the area.
Where we live we have Cougars out and about alot but for the most part they stay far away from people.
Unfortunately this one doesnt .
Thats one of the perks and pitfalls about living out of the city.
You get to enjoy nature but you also have to always be aware and know the rules.
Today I got to work on a couple more mothers Day cards that I have had people order.
This little Tilda from Magnolia stamps was my first ever stamp purchase |
Wee stamps I love you Slow Much |
I know I used her on my last Blog Post but I just love her. She is just adorable and alot of fun to colour. The papers are also from the same pack I found at Winners.
Hope your all having a great week so far and hope you have sunshine to enjoy as well.
Thanks for visiting
Hugs Sandy
Hi Sandy, Your cards are both just lovely. I think my fav is the 2nd one (has the roses in the background!). Your little Tilda is so cute & perky. Fab coloring & I like the way you layered the papers on this one especially. Nice touch. TFS & sorry to be slow in responding. Our pc came home, our dtr is visiting, so pretty much family time at the moment! Hugs & Happy Belated Birthday.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary and enjoy your time with your family.

Belated Birthday wishes.
ReplyDeleteSandy, both your cards are so adorable. I like the second one a bit more - it must be the colors. I'm into a spring colors right now :)
